Cecco Racing Can Am Outlander/Renegade Steering Stem Brace

If you're an aggressive rider/racer that subjects your 2006-2017 Can Am Outlander or Renegade to some good old-fashioned abuse, the $100 Steering Stem Brace from Cecco Racing is like an insurance policy for your ride. One of the more vulnerable parts of the Renegade/Outlander is the stock steering stem, which is subject to cracking and bending in extreme situations.

Made of 6061 Billet Aluminum and manufactured in the USA, this killer add-on drops inside of the stock steering stem, providing more rigidity and durability over the stock unit. The Cecco Racing Steering Stem Brace can position the handlebars in the stock location or locate them forward to give gangly-armed riders more room. The brace raises the handlebars 13mm, and is compatible with both stock and aftermarket handlebars.

We mounted the brace in our 2016 Can Am Renegade X mr 1000R in less than 15 minutes with just a few basic hand tools. Even despite the large mud tires on our monster mud Renegade, the Cecco Racing brace helped tighten up the steering feel and there was noticeably less flex felt through the bars. It's no secret that many of the mud guys like to mount handlebar risers. The risers create more leverage, which in turn allows the stock stem to flex more than it should. The Cecco Racing Steering Stem Brace is a perfect fix for this situation.
