What Would You Do To A Maverick?

A couple weeks back, Can-Am surprised us all with their launch of the industry's first OEM-equipped turbocharged UTV. This 2015 Can-Am Maverick 1000R Turbo X ds, and its ridiculously fast 121-HP powerplant, has once again upped the anty in the highly competitive High Performance UTV class. At the height of this class, you'll find Arctic Cat, Can-Am and Polaris in a slap me, slap you back harder kind of duel, which has helped create the RZR XP 1000, Wildcat X 1000 and the now turbocharged Maverick 1000 X. Isn't that what High Performance is all about, competition?

Can-Am has dropped the gauntlet on the High Performance UTV world, and today, they have invited ATV Rider Magazine to do the same to it's competition. Can-Am has challenged ATV Rider Magazine, along with four other media outlets (which will remain nameless, for now, because we'd like to pretend they don't exist), in our own slap me, slap you harder kind of competition. The challenge: Each media outlet has been given the opportunity to transform their stock 2015 Can-Am Maverick 1000R Turbo X ds into a trophy. The word "trophy" being symbolic, as our custom built Can-Am Maverick 1000R Turbo X ds will be placed on a mantle and voted on against the four other custom built Media Mavericks. On November 14-30, 2014, the final modified vehicles will be posted online for voting, and featured live at the BRP/Can-Am booth at the Glamis Thanksgiving event. The winning media outlet will be awarded a 2015 Can-Am Maverick 1000R Turbo X ds, and Can-Am will also be giving away to one lucky reader. We'll keep ya posted on more contest and voting details, but for now..., we need your help!
