Can-Am reinforces its 2016 Outlander lineup with three all-new, class-leading Rotax engines. The Can-Am Outlander family of 4x4 ATVs consists of four different class-leading engine packages, with three new (570, 850 and 1000R) engines and the returning Outlander 650. The new model year also brings new color options, a new lower ratio for the “L” gear and no maintenance for one year (1,500 km / 932 miles) for all members of the family.
All four engines are also available in either a one-up chassis or a two-up (MAX) platform. Also, all Outlander ATVs are available at different price points with various feature-laden packages. Those additional packages are comprised of base (650), DPS,TM (all), XTTM (all), XT-PTM (850 / 1000R) and LIMITED (MAX 1000R). Can-Am Outlander ATVs are built around the industry-exclusive chassis, suspension and share many of the same specifications, engineering and components aside from their engine levels, chassis length and features specific to certain packages.
