I really like riding with modular helmets. The comfort of a full face with the ease of a flip-up chin bar makes it a great combination for riding in all types of weather. Although they are less safe and more noisy than full-faces of the same money, I have found that once you switch to a modular helmet, it is very hard to go back. So I have made it my duty to try out as many as I can in my search for flip-up nirvana. At the Cincinnati V-Twin Dealer show I stopped by the Nolan booth and really liked the looks of the N90 helmet ($299) and the fine folks were kind enough to offer me one for analysis.
