The search for compact outdoor or off-road products is at an all-time high. Finding accessories that do multiple tasks is even better, in my humble opinion. Drinking coffee is something that everyone will do at some point in their life, and if they do it long enough, there will be that one time they get a sip of a cold brew and immediately wish it had stayed warm longer. It has happened to me more than a few times.

So recently I discovered a cool product at the SHOT show in Las Vegas. Now I know this product is not exactly waterproof and maybe not exactly durable enough for some of the ruffians out there, but a company called Cauldryn has developed a thermos-style container that will actually keep your drink hot or cold longer. Its primary task is to heat fluids and even boil them. Boiling water on the trail is an incredible thought, and currently this device has four temperature settings, with an adjustable model coming soon. The levels of hotness range from Hot (125–145 degrees), Extra Hot (160–170 degrees), Brew (195–205 degrees), and Boil (212 degrees). The brew mode can even be used to sterilize beverages including water!

The Cauldryn Fyre Mobile ($129.99) will fit into the cupholder of many off-road rigs, but I would not get it into any seriously damp or even wet conditions. The Cauldryn Mobile has a small regular base but the "Mobile" portion of the cup has a USB charging port for that "never leave home without it" cellular device! If you find yourself around an incredible campground waiting on the sun to come up in the morning before that first dew is soaked up by the sunlight, this could be for you. I know I sure enjoy mine and I hear the folks at Cauldryn even have a mixer base for spinning up those fresh protein drinks or Keto shakes! Check out the Mobile here.
