NASQUAD Racing, LLC takes pride in announcing a new major flat track championship quad series in the Southwest. The four round oval track series is based in southwest Colorado in the "Four Corners" region of the country (the one place in the United States where four states meet --Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico). Called the "2010 Four Corners Pro-Am Flat Track Racing Series," the championship series promises to be one of the preeminent flat track series in the nation.
The PRO class will enjoy a $7,350 purse for the entire four round season, the details of which are included on our web site www.NASQUADRacing.com. Round 1 is on Sunday June 27. Round 2 is on Sunday July 18. Round 3 is on Saturday night August 21, and Round 4 is on Sunday September 12. A number of amateur classes will also be raced. Our web site has all information on registration.
Based in Cortez, Colorado, the Southwest region is a superlative area to conduct a major national racing series. Not only are we relatively close to the West Coast, we are a day's drive or less from major population centers such as Denver, Colorado Springs, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. As is well known, we enjoy more sunny, blue sky days than anywhere in the country, which makes for great racing.
The track is an excellent 1/3 mile fast dirt oval and includes a large pit area, grandstands, concession stand, racing lights, loudspeaker system, safety barriers and fencing, and a large spectator parking area.
