There’s one round left in the 2021 WORCS ATV series. Racers just finished up round 9 in Mesquite, Nevada, over the weekend and are looking forward to the final round in Primm, Nevada, November 19–21. After that, WORCS racers will return to Primm for the 2021 WORCS Awards Banquet. But WORCS is already looking ahead to next year with a tentative schedule that includes racing in Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. Yes, the Lake Havasu round is happening over spring break and still includes the infamous Lagoon Jump.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or brand new to ATVs, WORCS has classes for everyone. You can even race your 4x4 ATV. Everything you need to know is on the WORCS racing website, including race schedules, race results, safety requirements, registration information, and more.
Classes are divided up by skill level, age, race vehicle type, and there are even classes for kids ages 4 and up. Racers under the age of 18 must have a legal parent/guardian present to sign a release waiver for registration. All racers must have a working tethered engine kill switch, a Snell- and/or D.O.T-approved helmet in good condition, gloves, race pants, a jersey, riding boots, and shatter-resistant goggles.
Do you have an old ATC in running order? You can race it too. 2021 was the first year that ATC racing was permitted at WORCS race events. The ATC race is very popular with spectators and saw growth as the season progressed. The ATC class saw as many as 10 entries per race during the inaugural year, and it’s predicted that 2022 will be even more popular for fans of three wheels. If you have an old air-cooled ATC or a modern custom trike, bring it out to the races.
