Fox Racing Clothing Division Purchased by Vista Outdoor

The motorsports and protective gear brand separates from Fox Head.

Fox Racing has been purchased by Vista Outdoor.Fox Racing

Vista Outdoor Inc., owner of companies such as Camelbak gear and QuietKat electric bikes, has purchased Fox Racing’s clothing and protective gear division for $540 million. A report from Pinkbike.com states that if Fox meets financial targets in the near term, Vista will add $50 million to the deal.

The report states that Fox’s net sales increased by 20 percent from 2019 to 2021. Nobody will be surprised that Fox expects its total annual sales to continue to increase in 2022.

Note that Fox Racing’s clothing sub-brand is the only portion Vista bought. The division responsible for the suspension components we enjoy on our off-road machines remains under the Fox Head brand.

Fox Racing will be added to Vista Outdoor’s already-expansive collection of brands, including Bell Helmets, Camelbak, Remington, Federal, and more.
