Pete’s Pirate Life Takes Delivery of a 2022 Can-Am Renegade

YouTube channel Pete’s Pirate Life recently took delivery of a new 2022 Can-Am Renegade X MR 1000R and showcased the wild ride in a video called It’s Going To Kill Me. In the video Pete takes a deep look at what went into the mud monster.

Pete picked up the 2022 Can-Am Renegade from Lockhart’s Odyssey. The Canadian company claims to be “Ontario’s #1 choice for BRP products” and specializes in the brand’s ATVs. But Lockhart’s is also known for modifying the already powerful big-bore Can-Ams for specific intended use cases, and Pete’s new toy is no exception.

Starting with the already amazing X MR 1000R, Lockhart added a slew of products to beef up the Can-Am’s abilities in the mud. On the list of modifications were a new winch line and exhaust from RJWC, a rear winch, and Mammoth reinforced tie-rods. SuperATV Assassinator tires were wrapped around wheels that have powdercoated beadlocks, and there are LED lights galore. There are appearance upgrades too, and nearly everything has been powdercoated yellow to match Can-Am’s famous color. The resulting product looks properly aggressive, and Lockhart appears to have put together a thorough, comprehensive build. We look forward to seeing it in action.
