Yuasa Battery Launches Online Store For Powersports Enthusiasts

LAURELDALE, Pa. (Aug. 17, 2009) - Yuasa Battery Inc., a leading manufacturer of batteries for powersports vehicles, recently launched an online store to offer the most popular models from its product line through the convenience of e-commerce.

The store site, designed by Shopatron of San Luis Obispo, Calif., is branded like Yuasa's website and features order entry and fulfillment. Consumers may choose to have purchases shipped directly to them or to a dealer location to be picked up.

"We always seek better ways to improve our support to dealers and customers," said Bruce Ash, director of OEM & national accounts for Yuasa Battery. "Offering our most popular battery models in an online store is one way we can accomplish this.

A "Buy Online" link appears on the upper right corner of Yuasa's website homepage www.yuasabatteries.com), below the photo of the black battery. The same link also appears on the lower portion of the left-side navigation bar on all Yuasa Web pages. All Web pages for specific models that are available online include a "Buy Online" link as well. The "Quick Search" box on the lower left corner of the Yuasa website homepage includes "Battery Type," which links to a search page (www.yuasabatteries.com/battery_search.php). The search page's drop down menu provides links to specific battery models.
